The weather was exceptionally sunny and felt like spring. At 4:00 p.m., old and new members started gathering in the large Main Hall of Stephen Leacock Seniors Community Center 

 

    They helped to arrange the venue. balloons, colorful flags, and monograms made everyone feel the festive atmosphere. Many members donated exquisite lucky draw gifts, and others brought elaborate delicacies. Many volunteers devoted their time and energy to the preparation of this event which was successfully carried out.

 

     Members also received a beautiful gift provided by member He Yi when they registered for the prize coupon.

 

     At the beginning of the event, the host invited the president Hao Xiaoping to give a speech which was full of gratitude to the directors, members, and sponsors. She also expressed her determination to continue to do a good job in community work and create a harmonious and healthy community.

 

     At 5:30, amidst the laughter, more than 70 members and friends began to  eat meals in an orderly manner. During the dinner, the hosts Liu Huan and May Wang also invited the directors and teachers to draw out 28 gifts donated by the members. The lucky ones were all elated.

 

     At 6:30pm, the well-prepared activity started. Under the leadership of Sunny, all members danced  "Good Morning Longhui", followed by Eric who taught a beautiful waltz dance, followed by lottery, and games, The performance set off one climax after another.
